  • Patent number: 10785580
Abstract: A method adjusts parameters of a hearing system which has a hearing aid device and a communication device, which is separate from the hearing aid device. A component for acoustic coupling of the hearing aid device to the ear of a hearing-aid wearer is fitted to the hearing aid device. A camera of the communication device is used to capture at least one image of the component used for acoustic coupling. A product identity of the component is identified from the captured image and acoustic transfer characteristics are assigned to the previously identified component. The parameters of the hearing system are adjusted on the basis of these acoustic transfer characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20070009123
Abstract: A remote control device is provided for a hearing device, and which comprises an input interface which receives input information. A conversion device converts the input information into hearing device control commands. A transmission device transmits the hearing device control commands to the hearing device.

  • Publication number: 20040123000
Abstract: The interface between the applications of various audiological devices to various data administration systems should be improved. Therefore, a universal interface is inventively proposed that has a uniform interface for the applications and a plurality of interfaces for the various data administration systems. In addition to this, the corresponding conversion routines are provided. Moreover, a class framework can be provided in the interface, such that it achieves a consistent access to the universal interface.

  • Publication number: 20030204131
Abstract: The operation of a medical device or system is simplified and improved by storing data with respect to possible processing or operating sequences in a data bank. The stored data are compared to processing or operating steps executed by a user. Dependent on the comparison result, prompts to further, meaningful processing or operating steps are generated, and settings and functions of the medical device or system are automatically implemented.

  • Patent number: 6574340
Abstract: In a method for determining a parameter set for a hearing aid during the computerized setting of the hearing aid, a macro call is determined, the macro call is converted into at least one setting command according to a macro definition, and the parameter set is determined dependent on the at least one setting command. Such a method is high-performance and nonetheless flexible and easy to manipulate.

  • Patent number: 5835611
Abstract: In a method for the adaptation of the transmission characteristic of a hearing aid to the hearing aid impairment of a hearing aid wearer using a personal computer having a pointer device such as a mouse, the acoustician selects segments of the graphic presentation of the hearing aid parameters with the mouse, modifies the graphics point-by-point or segment-by-segment by displacement of the mouse and thereby correspondingly co-modifies appertaining, displayable parameters. The hearing aid can be adapted to reach a target characteristic by means of one adaptation procedure, followed if necessary by further analogous fine adaptation procedures.
