    Abstract: The invention relates to an installation for polishing pieces of cutlery or the like, which comprises two rotatable conveyor devices, each adapted to move through a respective circular path for transporting workpiece holders for the pieces of cutlery through work stations disposed on the paths. The holders can now move on the first conveyor device from a clamping device by way of a polishing machine and a re-clamping device back to the clamping device and, on the second conveyor device from the re-clamping device by way of at least one polishing machine and an unclamping device back to the re-clamping device.
