  • Patent number: 10323448
Abstract: A device comprising a lifting rail that is firmly adhesively bonded to a pane is presented. The lifting rail has a tuning-fork-shaped vertical section that comprises an enclosing region having two mutually opposite open ends configured to bilaterally enclose an edge of the pane, and therefore fix the plane. The device also includes a stem surface, a region of bifurcation where the stem surface transitions into enclosing region, and an outer edge having a through-hole or a cutout. Also included is an adhesive strip that partially covers the stem surface in a manner that the through-hole or the cutout remain exposed. The adhesive strip also covers the enclosing region and the two mutually opposite open ends. The adhesive strip is deformed by the edge of the pane in two mutually opposite regions of the adhesive strip.

  • Patent number: 6039907
Abstract: To postform the region of transition between the initial part and the end part of a section piece forming a closed frame and applied to window glass (1) by extrusion, use is made of a mould (14) which pivots about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the extruded section piece and which is situated in the region of the surface of the window glass (1). The axis of pivoting of the mould (14) coincides with the cutting ridge (15) of a protrusion (16) which limits the calibrated cavity of the mould (14) on the internal face of the extruded section piece. As the mould (14) pivots, the excess polymer material is pushed back in the direction of the periphery of the window glass and beyond this periphery.

  • Patent number: 5980666
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a laminated glass window equipped with sealing at one or more edges, wherein the laminated glass window contains at least two glass sheets and laminated plastic placed between the two glass sheets, wherein the laminated plastic is made of at least one principal carrier sheet, having on at least one side at least one layer that reflects infrared radiation and outer layers made of one or more thermoplastic polymers; the process involving:a) forming a plate from the laminated plastic, the plate having a geometrical shape substantially the same as the glass sheets, but wherein the plate is shorter, by an offset distance, on each of one or more edges to be sealed;b) preparing a preliminary laminated sheet by positioning the plate in relation to the glass sheets while respecting the offset distance on each of the one or more edges to be sealed and removing air from between the layers formed by the glass sheets and the plate;c) filling the interstice of the one or more edges to be sealed
