  • Publication number: 20080205853
Abstract: In order to check the operation of graphics generation carried out with safety-relevant raw data, in particular sensor data, for instance by geometric transformation and image filtering, test vectors are also processed in addition to the preprocessed raw data. The resulting video data are compared with the expected values in order to infer therefrom possible malfunctions. This eliminates complex back calculation of the video data for comparison with the graphics instructions or raw data on which the video data is based.

  • Publication number: 20060048992
Abstract: In a longitudinally installed four wheel drive train of a motor which includes a front drive shaft, which transmits the engine driving torque to the front axle from the rear end of the vehicle transmission the front drive shaft comprises at least at its rear end two opposite radially projecting pins extending into longitudinal grooves formed in a gear wheel of a front drive structure so as to be axially movably and pivotally supported therein.

  • Patent number: 6918836
Abstract: Tripod joints have a joint outer part and a joint inner part which are in driving connection to each other with cylindrical rolling bodies being connected in between and axial displacement and pivotability being ensured. In this case, the rolling bodies extend in rectilinear, guiding running paths of the joint outer part. The rolling bodies are mounted in a manner such that they may be displaced longitudinally via the cages but to a restricted extend radially with respect to the pressure element. The radial extent of the running paths or mating surfaces is greater than the longitudinal extent of the rolling bodies. This enables the rolling bodies to move on a path in the shape of a circular arc. The arrangement provides an improved, mechanical transmission function of the tripod joint and reduced wear as a result. The tripod joint is suitable for the displaceable and pivotable driving connection of two shaft ends, e.g., in conjunction with drive trains or side shafts of motor vehicles.

  • Patent number: 6908515
Abstract: The devices and methods of the art do not readily allow moistening of, removing gas bubbles from and/or increasing the transfer of material in through bores and/or pocket holes in printed circuit boards (PCB). Considerable problems are presented by the treatment of very narrow bores with high aspect ratios in particular. To overcome this problem a method was found that involves the following stages: the printed circuit boards PCB are passed through a processing plant on a horizontal conveying path and in one conveying plane 2 by means of transportation means 13, 14 and are thereby brought to contact a liquid for treatment, wherein mechanical pulses are directly transmitted to the printed circuit boards PCB via the transportation means 13, 14 and/or via the liquid for treatment by means of pulse generating means 50.

  • Publication number: 20050003896
Abstract: In an arrangement of a running roller on a coupling journal of a coupling half of a moveable shaft coupling, a radial rolling bearing, the inner ring of which is connected to the coupling journal by a ball joint, is inserted into the running roller. In order to maintain an additional degree of freedom for the relative movements of the coupling journal in relation to the complementary coupling half in the directions perpendicular to the central axis of the latter, either the running face of the running roller is configured cylindrically or the rolling bearing is configured as a loose bearing.

  • Patent number: 6705966
Abstract: In a motor-vehicle drive train containing a differential, which has an differential input part and two differential output parts, a friction clutch with a limited transmittable torque is arranged between two of the differential parts, so that, with a small predetermined difference in torque between the two coupled differential parts, said friction clutch can slip to accommodate torque shocks. A temperature-dependent adjusting means is provided, which reduces the clutch engagement pressure with increasing clutch temperature.
