  • Publication number: 20220226740
Abstract: The invention relates to an amusement device for fairs, amusement parks or the like, having a substantially circular planar base (1) on which a star-shaped drive unit (3, 31) is arranged, which is rotatably mounted on a support bearing (5, 28) of the base (1), and at least one passenger gondola is arranged on each arm of the drive unit (3, 31). According to the invention, one or more of the passenger gondolas arranged on the arms (8, 32) are displaceable in the radial direction of the drive unit (3, 31) by means of pushing devices (15, 24) arranged to be displaceable each in the longitudinal direction of the arms (8, 32), the respective passenger gondolas being coupled to the respective pushing devices (15, 24), and the pushing devices (15, 24) follow a predetermined guide track (7, 14) when the drive unit (3, 31) rotates on the base (1), so that the passenger gondolas follow a circulation path on the base (1) which corresponds to the course of the guide track (7, 14).

  • Patent number: 11027207
Abstract: The invention relates to an amusement ride having a base (1) to which is fastened at least one pivotable or rotatable support (2) for holding rows of seats (4) mounted in gondolas (3, 8) on the support, the gondolas (3, 8) being movable on the support (2) at least in the vertical direction in relation to the base, and the rows of seats (4) being rotatable or pivotable in the gondolas (3, 8) in at least two planes which are perpendicular to each other. According to the invention, the support (2) contains at least two gondolas (3, 8) which are formed by frames (5, 6, 7) which interlock in a Cardan suspension, as a result of which the rows of seats (4) are mounted by Cardan suspension in the gondolas (3, 8) and are movable in three planes which are perpendicular to one another. While one of the gondolas (8) can be loaded and unloaded in its starting position, other gondolas (3) fastened to the support can be operated in a predefined movement program.

  • Patent number: 10799804
Abstract: The invention relates to a roller coaster vehicle guided along a rail structure extending in a two- or three-dimensional plane and having at least one passenger seat (3), which is fastened to a chassis (2) guided on the rail structure, wherein the passenger seat (3) is fastened to the chassis (2) by way of an axis of rotation (16, 17) extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and the rotation of the passenger seat (3) can be influenced manually during the ride of the roller coaster vehicle. According to the invention, a rotation about the axis of rotation (16, 17) can be influenced by the force of an airflow along adjustable air guiding wings (18, 19) on the vehicle.
