  • Patent number: 6750780
Abstract: The invention realises a remote controlling device of an operative machine which comprises a transmitter arranged on the ground at the disposal of an operator and a receiver arranged inboard, supplied with an accomplishment circuit connected with the drives of such machine. The transmitter comprises a first section which transmits luminous infrared waves and a second section which transmits electromagnetic waves which cooperate with the receiver comprising a first section receiving the luminous infrared waves and a second section receiving the electromagnetic waves. In the receiver electronic means are present, suitable for realising a permission signal which activates the accomplishment circuit only if the first receiving section receives the luminous infrared waves emitted by the first transmitting section.

  • Patent number: 6386794
Abstract: A vibrating drum for soil tamping machines, including a cylindrical tubular skirt adapted to be arranged in abutment against soil to be tamped to which is associated a first hydraulic motor which rotates the tubular skirt around a central shaft to move the tubular skirt forward, and a vibration mechanism to make the tubular skirt vibrate. The vibration mechanism includes a second hydraulic motor coupled to an end of the central shaft and a receptacle fastened to the central shaft which delimits a chamber for containing a liquid in which is partly immersed a draught pipe connected to a hydraulic circuit, which includes a pumping mechanism adapted to change an amount of liquid contained in the chamber so as to change the vibration amplitude of the drum.

  • Patent number: 6368015
Abstract: The finding produces a self-propelled vibratory finishing machine for asphalting road surfaces comprising a frame which supports a storage device and distribution of the bitumen to be deposited on the surfaces comprising a pair of screw feeders moved by a transmission unit and a pressing device the deposited bitumen aggregate set behind the screw feeders. Connected to the transmission unit and next to the screw feeders there is a flow divider device having surfaces symmetrically shaped to create at least one cutting edge suited to aid the flow of bitumen towards the screw feeders.

  • Patent number: 6286615
Abstract: A machine for breaking up ground including, a frame supported by at least one pair of front wheels or tracks and by at least one pair of rear wheels or tracks. A driver's cab is made out of said frame and a means of breaking up the ground is connected to the frame. A traction system is supported by the frame and is for rotating one or more of the wheels or tracks. At least one rear wheel or track has a horizontal axis belonging to a chassis that is integral with said frame. The chassis is provided with at least one first actuator that works with maneuvering systems accessible from the driver's cab to rotate the rear wheel or track around a vertical axis while turning the front wheels or tracks of the machine.

  • Patent number: 6244782
Abstract: A finishing machine for the laying of the asphalt surface having a conveyer, and a hopper for the storage and the distribution of material. The conveyer, that moves material from the hopper to the auger, has a couple of chains connected with one another by transversal splines that are suitable for the transport of the material. The material crawls on a plurality of fixed plates secured to the frame of the machine, and the chains run on the plates. The last plate, which supports the passing material, is floating in comparison with the fixed plate which precedes it. The last plate is on a weighing device, and the device is connected with a control power unit. The control power unit detects a signal relevant to the reading of the weight of the material. The signals are detected at time intervals, depending on the angular speed of the hopper, and allows weighings to take place after all the weighed material has been unloaded from the weighing plate.

  • Patent number: 6173512
Abstract: A scarifying machine for soil removal having a frame supported by a couple of front wheels and a couple of back wheels, a milling drum is in contact with the soil to be removed and supported by a rotating shaft connected to the frame. A motor is supported by the frame and causes the milling drum and at least one of the wheels to rotate. Each back wheel is supported by an articulation unit that is mechanically connected to the frame and cooperates with a first hydraulic cylinder that is capable of shifting the articulation unit in order to arrange the wheel from a position projecting laterally from the frame to a position re-entering with respect to the frame and vise-versa.

  • Patent number: 6126227
Abstract: The invention realizes a covering structure of the driving place of operative machines for road-works comprising a canopy which insists on the frame of said operative machine by supporting elements and shifting mechanisms suitable for lifting it. Each of said supporting elements is formed of at least a couple of traces made movable by at least one of the shifting mechanisms which is arranged between them and which realizes their compass movement in order to lift said canopy. When said canopy is lifted, said braces are arranged in an angular position according to an angle of an amplitude wider than 180.degree., suitable for favoring its filling when said canopy is lowered.
