  • Publication number: 20240112667
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for speech synthesis. The methods, systems, and apparatus include actions of obtaining an audio representation of speech of a target speaker, obtaining input text for which speech is to be synthesized in a voice of the target speaker, generating a speaker vector by providing the audio representation to a speaker encoder engine that is trained to distinguish speakers from one another, generating an audio representation of the input text spoken in the voice of the target speaker by providing the input text and the speaker vector to a spectrogram generation engine that is trained using voices of reference speakers to generate audio representations, and providing the audio representation of the input text spoken in the voice of the target speaker for output.

  • Publication number: 20060029332
Abstract: A rotate-and-pull mechanism for fiber optic modules. The mechanism having a lever-actuator to unlatch and withdraw a fiber optic module from a cage assembly or a module receptacle. The lever-actuator pivotally couples to the fiber optic module so that when lever-actuator is rotated about its pivot point, the lever-actuator causes a pivot-arm actuator to release the fiber optic module from the cage assembly. The pivot-arm actuator further including a keeper to engage into a latch in the cage assembly. A bracket, which may be coupled to the fiber optic module, provides a flexible arm portion to provide a counteracting force when the pivot-arm actuator rotates to release the fiber optic module from the cage assembly. The bracket may include a slot through which the keeper on the pivot-arm actuator may move through as the pivot-arm actuator pivots.

  • Patent number: 6942395
Abstract: A fiber optic module having a pull-lever actuator to unplug it from a cage or a module receptacle. In one embodiment, the pull-lever actuator includes a pull grip, a de-latching arm, and an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield with grounding tabs to couple to the cage or module receptacle to connect to ground. The pull-lever actuator makes it easy to de-latch and unplug a fiber optic module from the cage or module receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20050117854
Abstract: Fiber optic modules having a pull-actuator to unlatch and withdraw (i.e. unplug) it from a cage assembly or a module receptacle. The pull-actuator includes a pull-tab, an arm or push rod, and a catch to couple to a pivot-arm actuator. The pivot-arm actuator pivotally latches to the pull-actuator and to the cage assembly or module receptacle. The pull-actuator makes it easy to de-latch and unplug a fiber optic module. A nose grip is further provided to pull the fiber optic module away from the cage or module receptacle. A belly-to-belly mounting configuration is introduced for the pull-release fiber optic modules.

  • Patent number: 6869231
Abstract: An optical transmitter includes an optical bench in one embodiment. A window frame is mounted to a mounting block having a groove to form the optical bench. Optic and electro-optic components of the optical transmitter are mounted to the optical bench. The window frame includes a plurality of openings for mounting one or more ball lenses, an optical isolator, and a semiconductor laser. The semiconductor laser chip is used to generate light signals for optical communication over an optical fiber. The one or more ball lenses may be mounted into ball lens openings of the window frame and extend into the groove of the mounting block. One of the ball lenses maybe used to focus light signals between an optical fiber and the optical transmitter. Another one of the ball lenses may be used to collimate the light output from the semiconductor laser. In another embodiment, an optical receiver includes the optical bench. In yet another embodiment, an optical transceiver includes the optical bench.

The rotate-and-pull mechanisms have a lever-actuator to unlatch and withdraw a fiber optic module from a cage assembly or a module receptacle. The lever-actuator pivotally couples to the fiber optic module so that when lever-actuator is rotated about its pivot point, the lever-actuator causes the second actuator to release the fiber optic module from the cage assembly. The lever-actuator includes an actuating-tab to cause the second actuator to move when the lever-actuator is rotated. By pulling the lever-actuator away from the cage assembly, the fiber optic module is withdrawn from the cage assembly. A belly-to-belly mounting configuration is introduced for the rotate-and-pull release fiber optic modules.
