Abstract: A combined imaging plate scanning and erasing system, comprising: (a) a housing; (b) an imaging plate cassette infeed assembly positioned within the housing, the maging plate cassette infeed assembly comprising: (i) a mechanism to pull an imaging plate cassette into the housing; (ii) a mechanism to open the imaging plate cassette; and (iii) a mechanism to remove an imaging plate from the cassette; (c) a scanner positioned within the housing; (d) a curved path erasing assembly positioned between the imaging plate infeed assembly and the scanner; and (e) an imaging plate transportation assembly to move the imaging plate back and forth in a path extending from the imaging plate cassette, past the erasing assembly and through a scan area adjacent to the scanner.

Abstract: A cutting tool comprising a metal plate having a central aperture, a forwardly extending blade and a rearwardly extending tang having a second aperture offset from the central aperture, wherein the plate is coated with an electroless nickel layer. Also included is a first elongated member comprising a first handle terminating at a distal end by a jaw and a second elongated member comprising a second handle. The first and second members are pivotally connected to the plate at the central and second apertures by couplers respectively, so that the blade and jaw pivotably move in response to pivotable movement of the first and second members about the coupler in the central aperture.

Abstract: A wireless transmitting/receiving system preferably operable between first and second vehicles is provided which enables the second vehicle to replicate the lighting condition of the first vehicle. In one embodiment, the replication is accomplished through a connection to the second vehicles lighting system. In another embodiment, replication is accomplished through a separate light bar mounted to the second vehicle.

Abstract: A grilling surface, and a grease diverter, within a standard gas grill having a cover, base, and a gas burner. The grilling surface is formed of a series of integrally structured inverted and truncated pyramids, or cones, connected together, and having an aperture provided through each pyramid or cone, at its downward edge, to allow for drainage of grease therethrough, but to generally retard the direct access of flame to the food being cooked. A grease diverter, may be positioned below the grilling surface comprising a compound sloping plate, having its apex at the midpoint, and sloping downwardly to its front and back edge to divert grease away from the open flame.
