  • Patent number: 10046818
Abstract: An endless rubber track belt includes an endless, elongate carcass having an outer surface, an inner surface, and at least one reinforcing layer. The inner surface defines a plurality of wheel path areas. A plurality of tread lugs are disposed on the outer surface. A plurality of guide lugs are disposed on the inner surface, where each guide lug includes oppositely disposed drive faces, an upper face between said drive faces, and oppositely disposed end faces. At least one reinforcement strip is disposed inward from the inner surface and outward from the at least one reinforcement layer. The at least one reinforcement strip is positioned adjacent the plurality of wheel path areas. The at least one reinforcement strip may include a bias ply formed of two layers of cords arranged in opposite +/? bias angles. The +/? bias angles may range from about +/?20° to about +/?80°.

  • Patent number: 4788140
Abstract: A multilayer analytical element for the determination of a clinically significant enzyme analyte comprises a photosensitive compound (e.g. a photosensitive dye or dye precursor) and a filter layer containing one or more filter dyes. The filter layer is situated in the element such that incident radiation used to detect a density change resulting from interaction of the analyte and the photosensitive compound passes through the filter layer before it reaches the photosensitive compound. The use of the filter layer inhibits premature changes in the photosensitive compound caused by incident radiation. This element is particularly useful for the determination of creatine kinase or one of its isoenzymes, e.g. creatine kinase-MB.

  • Patent number: 3980478
Abstract: Images are recorded on ultraviolet-light sensitive recording materials employing photographic intermediates which function optically to reflect visible light and transmit ultraviolet light. To give the intermediates the desired optical function, a polyolefin compounded with certain white pigments is included as a sublayer between the paper support sheet and photosensitive layer.
