Abstract: A clamp for the permanent repair of leaking underwater pipelines providing improved sealing qualities against high pressures, as well as a feature which is designed to decrease the erosion of submerged pipelines which are subjected to erosive action of abrasive materials such as sand, fine gravel or silt in motion and providing for relatively easy and rapid installation under adverse diving conditions.

Abstract: A coupler for joining the ends of pipes and ducts used for liquids and gaseous fluids, such as are carried in pipelines and the like, particularly where used in underwater locations, the coupler providing for angular relation between adjacent pipes to follow the contour of the bottom on which placed, the construction of the coupler facilitating its placement and providing a positive seal against leakage.

Abstract: A tubular clamping and sealing coupler for underwater oil or gas pipelines or the like operating under high pressure, providing a fluid-tight joint between the sections of the pipelines, one section of the coupler being firmly secured to the pipe on which it is mounted while the other section of the coupler is mounted on the adjacent pipe and is tightened into sealing and clamping position against the first mentioned coupler, a single operation performing the clamping and sealing and coupling function, said coupler eliminating the need for precise alignment of the pipes or use of a chemical sealing compound.
