  • Publication number: 20070110515
Abstract: A removable modular flangeless security post system comprising a unitary bilaterally opposed thread embedment anchor device and an elongated security post member. The post member comprises a recessed attachment plate, wherein the plate is internally disposed a predetermined distance from one end of the post member for providing removable attachment of the post member to the threaded anchor device, whereby operational union of the post member with the embedment anchor device provides flangeless engagement with an installation surface. A method for installing a removable modular flangeless security post system comprising drilling a cavity, installing an embedment into the cavity, installing an elongated security post assembly and torquing the elongated security post assembly onto the embedment device.

  • Publication number: 20070057137
Abstract: A display case protection assembly for protection of a portion of a display case from damage from impacts comprising a guard member having a convex shaped first side, a concave shaped second side, a top end and a bottom end; a retaining sleeve is in communication with the assembly's concave shaped second side and is purposed for rotatably containing an offset positioning bar having an angularly displaced foot portion. The assembly may further comprise at least one receiving sleeve configured to receive the angularly displaced foot portion and the offset positioning bar may further comprise comprises a retaining flange extending beyond the outermost periphery of the offset positioning bar when the bar has been contained within retaining sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20060230681
Abstract: A Door Protector for an overhead retractable door comprising a pair of barrier portions, each in pivoting communication with a pair of saddle portions. Each of the barrier portions and the paired saddle portions are generally positioned parallel to first and second ends of a retractable door. The barrier portions comprise one or more barrier foot portions and one or more barrier positioning tabs. Barrier portions pivot in a 90° arc from/to a vertical position to a horizontal position. In the vertical position, barrier portion tabs may be used to support a roller assembly and maintain on open door in a retracted position. Practice of the present invention precludes closing of a retracted door until such time as barrier portions are pivoted to their horizontal position to serve as a barrier and preclude objects from encroaching upon or damaging the lower portion of a closed garage door.
