    Abstract: Retaining bushing for securing bearing rings comprising a strip of sheet metal bent to form a cylinder having radially projecting retaining projections engaging in a positively locking fashion in grooves in the bearing rings, the retaining projections being distributed around the periphery and being raised up from the sheet material in the radial direction by deep-drawing and stamped out to the required width along a circumferential line around the retaining bushing.
