Abstract: A sealing assembly for a hinged door is pivotable over a door threshold when the door is opened or closed. The sealing assembly includes an actuator responsive to closing of the door, the actuator having at least one connector rod extending along a channel and being movable longitudinally within the channel in response to the door closing. The rod is connected to a first end of at least one pivotable arm having rigid sections separated by flexible joints, with a second end of the arm being connected to a sealing member. The arm is flexible such that as the connector rod moves along the channel, part of the arm flexes vertically thereby imparting and maintaining vertical pressure on the sealing member.

Abstract: An automatic door bottom drop down seal having an actuator responsive to closing of the door for moving a sealing member vertically downwards into a sealing position relative to the door threshold when the door is closed. The actuator includes a arm connected to a block slidable within a channel of the seal housing. The arm is pivotally connected to the slide block so to pivot downwardly to impart downward pressure on the sealing member.

Abstract: Noise attenuating apparatus for housing, inter alia, a compressor and/or condenser unit, the apparatus comprises a substantially box-shaped outer shell and an inner shell which houses the unit. The outer shell is formed with a primary air inlet to receive air into the apparatus and a primary air outlet for discharge of spent air from the apparatus. The inner shell includes an inner chamber and is formed with a secondary air inlet to receive air supplied via the primary air inlet means into the inner chamber to supply air to the unit. The inner shell is also formed with a secondary air outlet opening for flow of spent air from the inner chamber. The space between the inner and outer shells defines a tortuous flow path for the removal of spent air from the apparatus through the primary air outlet means.
