    Abstract: In an underwater glider, stability and versatility can be enhanced by the use of a high wing design. In a high wing design, a centerline of the wings extending from the sides of the body of the glider are located above a relative centerline of the body of the glider. The relative centerline of the wings may rise continuously from a region where the wings attach to the body to respective ends of the wings. In particular for a blended wing glider, a top surface of the glider is level in a line extending between ends of each wing.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for making a epoxy composite. In the process an epoxy prepolymer, a curing agent and a particulate filler are combined to form a curable mixture. The mixture is then agitated under a non-air atmosphere to render it substantially homogeneous, and pressure is applied to the mixture to reduce or eliminate gas pockets in the mixture and is maintained until the curable mixture is cured to form the epoxy composite.

    Abstract: There is disclosed stereographic camera system including a left and a right camera including respective lenses, plural mechanisms to synchronously set a focal length of the lenses, to synchronously set a focal distance of the lenses, to set a convergence angle between the left and right cameras, and to set an intraocular distance between the left and right cameras. A controller may determine a convergence based on the focal length. The controller may cause an interocular distance and a convergence angle between the left and right cameras to be set based on a maximum allowable disparity, the focal length of the lenses, the convergence distance, and a distance to an object in the scene.
