    Abstract: A charge card identification system includes a portable base station with a mechanism for heating a top surface area of the base station to a desired temperature such that the user can place a user finger on the selected surface area. The system further includes a portable charge card, a heat detecting circuit electrically coupled to a finger print reader, a processor electrically coupled to the finger print reader and a memory. Such a memory includes software instructions that cause the finger print reader to calculate the finger print image based upon the detected peaks and valleys of the user finger. The system further includes a mechanism for verifying a user identity based upon the recorded finger print image such that the user is authorized to execute the sales transaction.
