  • Patent number: 11979696
Abstract: In some examples, a system includes an article of personal protective equipment (PPE) having at least one sensor configured to generate a stream of usage data; and an analytical stream processing component comprising: a communication component that receives the stream of usage data; a memory configured to store at least a portion of the stream of usage data and at least one model for detecting a safety event signature, wherein the at least one model is trained based as least in part on a set of usage data generated by one or more other articles of PPE of a same type as the article of PPE; and one or more computer processors configured to: detect the safety event signature in the stream of usage data based on processing the stream of usage data with the model, and generate an output in response to detecting the safety event signature.

  • Patent number: 6559944
Abstract: A method for maintaining substantial reliability of color measurements obtained by a number of color measuring instruments includes by measuring color values of a set of master color standards on a master color measuring instrument at a master color lab, and measuring color values of sets of working color standards on the same instrument to determine calibration values. The working sets are provided to remote locations for use on remote color measuring instruments and the working sets are measured on the remote color measuring instruments to obtain color value measurements which are transmitted to the master color lab. The measurements from the remote instruments are compared with the calibration values obtained from measurements on the master instrument to generate profiles which are provided to the remote color labs. The profiles are applied to measured color values for the set of working color standards to obtain corrected color values.

  • Patent number: 5465992
Abstract: A base plate has an aperture which allows the plate to be mounted flatwise on a drawbar under the hitch ball. The base plate has a front integral wall of short height which allows side to side swinging movement of a trailer tongue over the top of it when the tongue is hitched to the ball. A flared trailer tongue guide is removably seated on the base plate in contact with the rear surface of the short front wall. The flared guide is locked in place by a pair of pivotal latch members having latch fingers that engage firmly against the bottom surface of the base plate. The aperture in the base plate is oblong to allow adjustment for the stop position of a trailer tongue as it bottoms out in the flared guide.

  • Patent number: 5373935
Abstract: A return roller assembly for the return flight of a continuous belt of a bulk conveyor, the return roller assembly having a center roller and a pair of end rollers, the center roller being mounted horizontally and the end rollers being mounted such that the upper most portion of the inner ends are at the same vertical level as the uppermost part of the center roller and the uppermost part of the outer ends of the end rollers are below the vertical level, the center and end rollers defining a shallow, inverted, trough-like supporting shape for the return flight.

  • Patent number: 4847972
Abstract: A van apparatus (20, 20') for the transportation of handicapped people having a bi-level floor surface supported by a frame rail (34, 34'), wherein the lower portion of said bi-level floor extends in a substantially level plane from an intermediate area to a forward area of said van apparatus, such that a handicapped person may drive or ride as the front passenger in said van apparatus. The lower portion of said bi-level floor may be lowered to a customized depth in the construction of each individual van apparatus. Methods for construction of such a van apparatus are also disclosed.
