    Abstract: A device for extracting nails or the like from a workpiece. The extractor includes a body member having a first end and a second end; a plurality of leg members, each of the leg members having a first end and a second end, the first end of each of the leg members being attached to the second end of the body member; and a collar slidably positioned over at least a portion of the leg members for causing the second ends of the leg members to be urged inwardly. The extractor is preferably machined or otherwise constructed out of metal.
