Abstract: Disclosed is a process for pelletizing ultra high melt flow crystalline polymers to produce dust-free, uniform ultra high melt flow crystalline pellet products. The process comprises feeding polymer into melting/mixing means, resulting in molten polymer. The molten polymer is transferred to a droplet forming means that produces droplets of the molten polymer. The droplets collect on a continuously moving cooling conveyer and solidify to form dust-free, uniform ultra high melt flow crystalline polymer pellets. Further, the process produces ultra high melt flow crystalline polymer pellets which are uniformly compounded.

Abstract: Novel lubricating compositions are provided comprising a lubricating oil modified with a pour point depressant and as a superior viscosity index improver, a copolymer of butadiene and isoprene having between 20-55% 1,4-configuration, this polymer then having been hydrogenated to remove substantially all of the olefinic unsaturation.

Abstract: An improved process for the preparation of branched polymers is provided wherein the individual branches may be selected at will comprising the formation of an anionic polymer of a polymerizable monomer, coupling with a polyvinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and block polymerizing this coupled product with an anionically active polymerizable monomer.

Abstract: Lubricating compositions having improved operating life comprise lubricants containing hydrogenated polymers of conjugated dienes wherein at least 98% of the olefinic double bonds present in the non-hydrogenated precursors are reduced and at least 20% of the polymeric molecules contain no olefinic double bonds in the polymer backbone.
