  • Patent number: 8973776
Abstract: A cup with nestable food container and cover includes at least one wall that defines at least one container body and a plurality of downward oriented cavities. The cup includes a lower and upper cup body a portion of which defines a fill line that indicates a volume of beverage to fill the cup with. The upper cup body holds the food container, and the at least one container body may descend into the annular opening of the cup down to the fill line. Each of the plurality of downward oriented cavities include a bottom outer corner portion, such that at least one of the plurality of downward oriented cavities may rest on the portion that is wider in the upper cup body. The at least one container and at least one cover may include at least one cavity that may hold at least one independent drop-in container and cover.

  • Patent number: 8939312
Abstract: A container lid system is provided. The lid system may be constructed of two parts: a lid portion and a food container portion. A top cover may also be used. The food container portion may employ a condiment receiving structure that receives a condiment package/container or an unpackaged condiment. The container lid system allows a user to consume food items while the food container portion is coupled to a cup lid or alternatively the food container portion may be decoupled and placed on a table. The cross sections of the lid portion and the food container portion are substantially complementary to each other, such that the food container portion may snuggly mate with the lid portion. Thermoforming may be used to create each of the three parts, and the parts may snap-fit together. Different materials may be used for the parts including black opaque plastic, white opaque plastic and clear plastic.

  • Patent number: 8919592
Abstract: Cup lid with integrated container(s) that couples with the top of a cup. The cup and cup lid form at least two containment volumes, Embodiments enable easy containment, inclusion of fresh food, transportation and access of solid or liquid in the container and cup without disengagement of the cup lid from the cup. Contents of the lid container may be accessed, partially consumed, replaced in the container and resealed at any time as desired by the user. Additionally, an independent drop-in container within the lid cavity may be resealed and removed from the lid cavity and taken to other locations such as home, work, or car. Simplifies eating and drinking from one unified container and cup in a theater or stadium having seats for example that provide one cup-holder per seat. Provides one free hand to hold a child's hand for safety while in stadiums and amusement parks.

  • Patent number: 8701914
Abstract: A paper cup or shell with a thin removable liner that is not laminated to the cup or shell such that the liner may be easily disengaged, removed, or separated from the cup or shell prior to disposal or the recycling process. The thin removable or detachable liner is preferably made from aluminum, aluminum alloy, or aluminum foil, as opposed to other recyclable materials. Aluminum is the preferred material for the liner due to the fact that aluminum is infinitely recyclable and can be used over and over again to make recycled aluminum products or recycled detachable cup liners.
