    Abstract: A method and apparatus for imprinting plastic frustro-conically shaped container with a die containing a printing element or elements compresses and flattens the container sidewall during printing. The design is arcuately arranged to correct for distortion which would occur if the flattened side wall were printed with orthogonally arranged letters or design.
