  • Patent number: 9560242
Abstract: Described is a method and a device for screen calibration for the true-to-original reproduction of surface colors, the spectral reflection distribution of which is known, wherein by setting parameters the screen can be influenced using software and an electronic controller in each partial region of the screen. The disclosure is characterized in that an observer adapts the reproduced color impression of the screen to the color impression of an original in each partial region of the screen, wherein the original is compared to the screen colors immediately thereafter on the screen surface and the screen parameters are varied until the color impressions of the original and of the screen appear identical to the observer on the respectively viewed partial screen, viewed from a predefined observer angle, and the settings performed are stored in a screen profile.

  • Patent number: 9478152
Abstract: A device for screening of outside light from the view of a video monitor is described. The device is constructed such that it may be fully or partially deployed, allowing for various configurations. In the fully collapsed configuration, the invention permits the user to employ the monitor without the light blocking shades as well. In a preferred embodiment, the device additionally includes a light source for illuminating the surface of the monitor.

  • Publication number: 20120039074
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for shading extraneous light and for creating defined lighting conditions on a monitor (9) and optionally on a pattern, having shading elements, comprising two side walls (2), a panel (5) and an upper part (3). The invention further comprises a base plate (1) and a device (4, 9.2) for preventing extraneous light to enter from the back and at least one light source (7) for illuminating a monitor surface. The invention is characterized in that at least some of the shading elements are designed to be movable and the at least one light source is integrated in the front region of the shading elements such that it does not illuminate the monitor after the shading elements are pushed back.

  • Patent number: 5156712
Abstract: A film sealing system and method which utilizes the combined application of pressure and high voltage static charge to achieve a high quality seal between two plastic layers of packaging material.Pressure is applied via a sealing bar 40 to evacuate air from between two film layers to be sealed together. A static charge is then applied via a static probe 30.Relatively high pressure air is admitted to a passage which surrounds the static probe. Such air induction of the static charge has been found to intensify the static charge penetration of the film layers and to consequently produce a higher quality film seal.
