  • Patent number: 8720706
Abstract: A display stand has a base, a vertical pole having a lower end fixed to the base. The pole includes two sections having a stem projecting upward from each section. A bearing is coupled each stem of the pole. A pair of racks, each having a central tube with a bearing race fixed within a lower end contacts an outer surface of the bearings for rotation around the tube. Each rack has a generally square perimeter with rounded corners formed of wire, with a plurality of radial support members coupled between the central tube and the rounded corners. Each side of the square perimeter portion includes a pair of hooks adjacent the rounded corners to engage products to be displayed on the stand, the hooks projecting a limited distance outward below the plane of the rack square perimeter.

  • Publication number: 20130140211
Abstract: A set of one-piece containers constructed so that each of the containers has a peripheral side wall which is arranged to permit movement of each container from an extended position to a collapsed position by reason of a telescoping relationship between the various sections of the peripheral side wall. The set of containers is constructed so that the outermost and innermost dimensions of the peripheral side walls are such that, in the collapsed position, the containers are nestable one within another to provide for low-volume storage of the entire set of containers between uses.

  • Publication number: 20130092330
Abstract: An industrial traffic curtain can be formed of a plurality of overlapping strips suspended contiguously to each other from a hanger fixed adjacent to a top margin of the opening. Each strip is of a flexible transparent material of substantially uniform longitudinal character having a lateral cross-section defined by an alternating series of thicker portions separated from each other by thinner portions, the thicker and thinner portions having approximately the same width, the thinner and thicker portions being united by narrower tapered regions of changing thickness. The traffic curtain thus formed exhibits a surprisingly lower electrostatic attraction between the strips so that the resistance to separation from each other as goods and transporting vehicles attempt to pass through the curtain is much lower than prior art curtains.

  • Publication number: 20070277707
Abstract: A system for handling rolled sheet goods includes at least two pallets with a box situated on each pallet, each box containing a plurality of rolls of sheet goods arrayed within each box so that an open central core of each roll is aligned perpendicular to the box bottom. A compression resistant member is situated adjacent to or within the open central core of some of the rolls, each compression resistant member extending from the box bottom to a plane above the roll top edge to contact a lower surface of the box top to resist vertical compression of the box that would damage the rolled sheet goods. At least one tension member can be used to couple the boxes and pallets of the system together in a vertical stack.

  • Publication number: 20040210175
Abstract: A foot rest is formed by a thick-walled, preferably blow molded, container for containing a thermally therapeutic liquid with an upper surface configured to facilitate the massage of the feet. The container foot rest includes a neck portion having a mouth to fill the container and a closure. The container also has a shoulder portion expanding outward from the neck portion that can support a handle. A body portion of the container has a lower generally planar side forming a base of the foot rest. An upper side can be domed or curved in a cylindrical arc, and includes an array of outward projections. The lower surface includes a substrate gripping feature for gripping a carpet or floor. The foot rest can be used in either a sitting or standing position and is inexpensive to manufacture.

  • Patent number: 6783031
Abstract: A two-piece dispensing cap for a container has a body and an insert mounted for rotation within the body. The body has a sidewall defining a cylindrical chamber with an open first end and an end wall forming a partially closed second end. The body sidewall has an inlet while the body end wall has an axial opening, a non-axial outlet, and a protruding flange for attachment to a container mouth. The insert is received into open first end of the cylindrical chamber. The insert has a peripheral wall dimensioned to conform to the cylindrical housing interior surface and a first insert end wall including a protruding handle extending through the axial opening in the body end wall. The insert includes openings to permit filling of the insert from the container and dispensing of the contents of the insert. An insert second end wall is integrally formed with a hinge to the insert peripheral wall while an over-cap is integrally formed with a hinge to the body portion.
