Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electric motor including the steps of providing a cylindrical housing having a plurality of recesses spaced from one end, providing a shaft bearing having a radially extending flange around the periphery of the bearing, providing a molding chamber, locating the end of the housing in the molding chamber, locating the bearing in the molding chamber in proper position relative to the end of the housing, delivering molten plastic into the chamber and allowing the molten plastic to harden to form the end bell with the shaft bearing positively located with respect to the end of housing.
