  • Patent number: 7494194
Abstract: A remote train-line braking control system includes first and second air supplies and a first control valve connected in fluid communication between the first air supply and an air pressure controlled diaphragm that controls a fluid pressure supplied to a train-line braking system. A second control valve is connected in fluid communication between the second air supply and the first control valve. The first and second control valves are operable for individually connecting the diaphragm to the first air supply, the second air supply and atmospheric pressure. The diaphragm is responsive to the pressure of air supplied thereto for controlling a fluid pressure supplied to the train-line braking system. When the diaphragm is exposed to atmospheric pressure, the brakes of the train-line braking system are fully applied.

  • Publication number: 20060090841
Abstract: A blister packaging machine for packaging product includes a frame, a heater that is supported by the frame and movable with respect to the frame, a hydraulic clamp connected to the heater, an insulator is provided to adequately thermally insulate the hydraulic clamp from the heater, and a heat sealing member for contacting a heat sealable item during use. The heat sealing member is adapted to be connected to the heater by way of the hydraulic clamp. The heater and the heat sealing member are adapted to move so that the heat sealing member contacts the heat sealable item.

  • Patent number: 6922977
Abstract: A blister packaging machine comprises a combination load/offload station having a blister magazine that is filled from the outside of the machine rather than the inside of the machine. The load mechanism includes a pick and place mechanism that is adapted to place individual blisters into nesting trays on a rotary carousel. The offload mechanism includes a pick and output mechanism that is adapted to pick formed blister packages from the nesting trays and output them into a collection bin. The load mechanism is arranged to cooperate with the offload mechanism without interference. The load and offload mechanism may be incorporated into a six station blister packaging machine.

  • Patent number: 4118022
Abstract: Bursting apparatus for continuous forms having modular guiding, trimming, bursting, and decollating units. A folding forms tray is provided to hold forms to be burst. Paper feeding and guiding is accomplished by the use of laterally adjustable curved, flanged guide means coacting with spring loaded hold-downs. Margin trim cutters and a center slitter are also provided. Forms width and margin trim adjustments are readily accomplished through the use of novel leaf-spring clamping means coacting with transverse guiding means. The bursting unit has fixed high speed rollers and movable low speed rollers with a bursting blade having plural arcuately shaped bursting areas attached thereto. The low speed rollers are mounted on a movable carriage which is adjustably spaced from the fixed high speed rollers by means of two parallel threaded rods.

  • Patent number: 3934501
Abstract: A demountable document receiving tray or gauge member is provided with means for adjusting the lateral location of a document relative to the printing position of a MICR imprinting apparatus so as to position the document at any one of a multiple set of full field MICR printing positions. Structure operably associated with the document receiving tray permits automatic actuation of the MICR printing mechanism by insertion of a document. Also included is structure providing a time delay preventing accidental actuation of the document printing structure after withdrawal of the document.
