  • Patent number: 9567562
Abstract: An algae dryer defines an insulated and heated stationary drum within which is positioned a rotating arm extending an axial sprayer to spray a coat of algae on the inside of the drum with a second integrated opposing arm axially extending an offset scraper which engages the inner perimeter of the drum surface and removes the algae from the interior of the drum, depositing the dry algae scrapings into the bottom of the drum through a slot, further directing the harvested algae through an auger to a packaging or processing location.

  • Patent number: 9206388
Abstract: A process for accelerated and sustainable algae growth using a vertical tank photobioreactor, which includes steps involving the sustainable algae growth, preferably of the strain nannochloropsis oculata, the harvest of a portion of the algae in a harvester apparatus, the reduction and recycling of byproducts using recycled waste and conversion of gasses to useable and sustainable recycling within the process, the algae product supplied in wet or dry form for the further production of biofuels through the conversion of the algae to crude oil.

  • Publication number: 20070234854
Abstract: A bendable-head power ratchet tool is described in which a conventional motor body is connected to a conventional socket head ratchet mechanism by a unique two-piece split-shaft the pieces of which articulate in the Z-axis while delivering torque. The driveshaft and foreshaft are coupled by a pivotable shaft coupling made from a simple and rugged slotted ball with wristpin in mating socket. Surprisingly simple, the pivotable shaft coupling may be assembled by merely dropping the foreshaft onto the driveshaft in place in the housing. Such ratchet tools may be pneumatic or electric. A preferred embodiment is an air-powered bendable head ratchet wrench.
