  • Patent number: 11422675
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing a unique user experience for a user account interacting with an electronic commerce site by dynamically generating content that is organized and presented according to various strategies (e.g., past purchases, trending items, advertisements, etc.) and/or a user context for a given shopping experience. For example, a user associated with a user account can be presented one or more grouping of items (e.g., products, goods, services, digital content, etc.) that are ranked and presented to the user according to the various strategies and the user context such that the user is presented with content that is most relevant and determined to be of interest to the particular user.

  • Patent number: 11263685
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for identifying complementary items to items available for sale, lease, download, rent, etc. by different merchants in an electronic commerce system and presenting the complementary items alongside requested items in a user interface to improve a user experience when interacting with the electronic commerce system. The user interface includes a first user interface object that includes the requested items and a second user interface object that includes the complementary items to the requested items. The complementary items are displayed in the second user interface object in vertical alignment with a position of the corresponding requested item in the first user interface object.

  • Patent number: 4924616
Abstract: The portable firearm rest of the invention comprises a T shaped base, adjustable height support posts for elevation control, are positioned at the points of the T. The fore rest is a resilient pad supported on adjustable posts above the cross of the T, to receive the firearm barrel. A recoil slide with adjustable recoil spring is slidably mounted within the upright of the T, and mounts the aft rest in one embodiment comprising a vertical plate with opposed resilient bumpers to receive the firearm butt, in an alternative embodiment for heavier weapons comprising a U shaped plate with a cross bolt bearing internal opposed resilient bumpers to receive the firearm butt. Friction control is provided by a set screw engaging the recoil slide. The rest can be used for zeroing or sighting firearms, and as a shooting rest. Not only is recoil significantly reduced, but the sighting procedure is made much more convenient. The rest can be used for hand guns.

  • Patent number: 4658646
Abstract: A magnetic detector for detecting a change of state in a pipeline, primarily a passage of a marking pig, is disclosed. The actuator has a detector housing and an actuator housing. A piston extends from the detector housing into the pipeline, and is moveable by passage of a pig. A primary permanent magnet coupled to the piston moves in response to the passage of a pig. The actuator housing is adjacent the detector housing and a secondary hammer magnet is located in the actuator housing adjacent the location of the primary magnet in the detector housing. As the primary magnet moves in response to the passage of a pig, the magnetic field produced by the primary magnet moves, interacting with the hammer magnet, which also moves. As the hammer magnet moves, its supporting linkage enters a field generated by a third booster magnet. The booster magnet attracts the hammer magnet and associated linkage toward it. A hammer is connected to the hammer magnet support linkage.
