Abstract: A method for enhancing the user's experience by synchronizing a multimedia feature with the movement of an indicating device. In one embodiment, a method is provided for previewing media products including the steps of providing a preview device for previewing predetermined preview clips of pre-recorded media products, interactively indicating which media product is to be previewed, and instantly playing the preview clips of an indicated pre-recorded media product in real time without noticeable delay. The plurality of pre-recorded media products may be music, video, movie, electronic game program, or a software program. An interactive graphical user interface is also provided for allowing a user to remotely preview media products through a communications link where the GUI includes a plurality of trigger fields identifying a plurality of pre-recorded media products, each of the plurality of trigger fields being associated with a preview clip.
