  • Patent number: 11971725
Abstract: A system for an agricultural operation includes a first vehicle equipped with an imaging sensor configured to capture image data associated within a field. A computing system is communicatively coupled with the imaging sensor. The computing system is configured to receive the image data associated with the field, identify one or more objects within the image data as a target, identify one or more objects within the image data as a landmark, determine a location of the target relative to the landmark, and generate a control command for a second vehicle. The control command includes the location of the target relative to the landmark within the field.

  • Patent number: 10947682
Abstract: A temporary barrier system that is configured to be placed adjacent a concrete divider on a roadway wherein the temporary barrier system provides an increased vertical barrier so as to inhibit seeing therepast. The temporary barrier system includes a storage container having the body of the present invention stored in its first position therein. The body of the present invention is planar in manner and stored in a rolled position in the storage container. The body is wrapped around a winding apparatus and includes an end that is configured to be secured to a deployment vehicle. The deployment vehicle traverses away from the storage container to deploy the body to its second position. The body further includes a plurality of support members being configured to be perpendicular to the upper and lower edge. The storage container is configured as a towable trailer.

  • Patent number: 10928193
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and tools for calibrating a camera-based three-dimensional optical metrology system such as that used for non-contact measurement of strain in a materials test system. A tool is provided which holds a calibration plate within a test space of a load frame of a materials testing device. The tool includes a spindle which rotates around a rotational axis to a series of detent rotational positions. The spindle engages the calibration plate by a bearing configuration which allows the tilt angle of the calibration plate to be varied. The rotation of the spindle and the variation of the tilt angle provides for two degrees of freedom of movement within the test space. The resulting sequence of calibration plate positions is systematic and repeatable.

  • Patent number: 10650646
Abstract: This disclosure relates to method of enhancing the three-dimensional detection range of a vision-based, single camera intrusion detection system within a tensile test machine or other materials testing machine. Illumination sources are offset from the camera and provide a cones of illumination which intersect with the conical viewing zone of the camera thereby defining a detection zone. When objects intrude into these conical regions, a shadow is cast. The shadow is detected by the camera. The detection of the intrusion is typically used as a safety function to deactivate at least part of the function of the materials testing machine.

  • Patent number: 10584867
Abstract: A lighted sports court floor mop designed for drawing visual attention to itself. It has a circular mop body with a ring of downward facing LEDs imbedded about the entire perimeter of the mop head body. These LEDs face downward when the mop head is in use on the floor, and are not visible when the mop is in use, as they are embedded in the bottom face of the mop head. The light emitted from these LEDs is not directly visible when the mop is in use but rather the light directly emitted from the LEDs is reflected off of the floor to outside of the mop body so the viewing public sees the illusion that the mop body is floating above the court floor. A video display panel may be optionally mounted on the top deck of the mop head that is horizontally or vertically disposed. The lights and video display panel are operated by a pole handle mounted switch that operates the control module. The control module and its power source are housed in the mop body.
