  • Patent number: 11979847
Abstract: Handshaking is performed, by an ego device via a wireless transceiver, with surrounding mobile devices to receive identifiers of the surrounding mobile devices and incoming notification messages from the surrounding mobile devices. Each of the incoming notification messages are sent from a different respective sender device of the surrounding mobile devices and include identifiers of devices seen by the sender device and an indication of whether issues with the devices seen by the sender device were identified by the sender device. An alert is raised responsive to an issue being indicated with the ego device based on the incoming notification messages.

  • Publication number: 20120205168
Abstract: A system for inserting a robot through an opening which includes a robot, the robot, payload, a tether, and a remote controller. The robot includes a first body supporting a first ground engaging drive and a second body supporting a second ground engaging drive. A pivoting connective linkage is provided between the first body and the second body. The connective linkage has an operative position in which the first body and the second body are in parallel spaced relation and an insertion position in which the first body and the second body are aligned on a common axis. An actuator is provided for moving the connective linkage from the insertion position to the operative position.

  • Patent number: 6359431
Abstract: A golf-cart speedometer/odometer has a rotation-mark collar (1) on a cart-wheel rim (2) that signals rotation to a rotation sensor (4) on a housing extension (5) from a cart-axle housing (6). Measurement of rotation of the rotation-mark collar from rotation of the cart-wheel rim is communicated electrically from the rotation sensor to a readout console (8) having a speedometer (10), a resettable long-distance odometer (11) in metric or English and a resettable short-distance odometer (12) in metric or English readout. Rotation-marking of the rotation-mark collar is preferably with a plurality of magnets (3). Optionally, the rotation-marking of the rotation-mark collar can utilize a plurality of four magnetic-material markers for a rotation-sensor magnet to decrease magnetic field that could damage computers or medical equipment in the vicinity. Further optional, the rotation-marking of the rotation-mark collar can utilize a plurality of four mechanical trippers (31) and trippets (32).

  • Patent number: 5554077
Abstract: A ball dispenser is formed by a cylindrical housing or tube with a piston slidable therein and biased to a dispensing end of the tube. A cap is connected by a bridging member the tube and projects over the axial center line of the cylinder and is formed with a concave spherical shape to receive the end of a ball contained within the dispenser. The dispenser is symmetrical on opposite sides of a central plane and an assess opening of mouth is provided adjacent to the cap through the side of the tube opposite the bridging section. The mouth is symmetrical on opposite sides of the plane and has its maximum opening at the central plane. The periphery of the mouth is defined by substantially V-shaped sides on each side of the plane with the bottom of the V shapes adjacent to the bridging section. The front edge or lip of the cap i.e.
