    Abstract: A drill guide, for use in the preparation of a dental implant site, having a tubular body with a screw thread along at least a section thereof. The drill guide has a stent with screw threads that are complementary screw threads allow the removable attachment of the tubular body to the stent and allows the axial advancement of the tubular body toward the bone. The complementary screw threads are provided on a matrix material of the stent.
