  • Patent number: 4057122
Abstract: A control arrangement is provided for a vehicle having an adjustable seat mounted on a fixed frame of the vehicle for permitting the selective movement of the seat relative to certain ones of the controls, such as the foot pedals. The control arrangement includes a manually actuatable control valve mounted to one side of the set for adjustable movement therewith between predetermined minimum and maximum positions relative to the fixed frame. A plurality of flexible hydraulic hoses are connected to the control valve and extend therefrom in a circumlocutious route to the frame so as to provide the hoses with a sufficient length to accommodate the movement of the valve between its minimum and maximum positions without the hoses being kinked or placed in tension.

  • Patent number: 4041976
Abstract: A single lever control arrangement for selectively actuating a pair of first and second valve spools reciprocally mounted in a housing comprises a handle assembly including a triangular plate pivotally mounted on the housing by a first ball and socket connection. The first and second valves are pivotally mounted to the plate by second and third ball and socket connections, respectively, whereby the valves may be reciprocated by the handle assembly separately or simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 4034948
Abstract: A vehicle seat structure comprises a seat pivotally connected to swing link means which are in turn pivotally connected to the base by substantially parallel links to allow the vehicle seat to be both raised and lowered or tilted with respect to the base. A height select pin and a tilt select pin are normally restrained within notches in respective height and tilt position members to fix thereby a given height and tilt attitude of the seat. An actuating bar controlled by a control lever acts to disengage either the height select or tilt select pin to permit the pin to be seated in a different notch, thereby enabling seat position to be varied. Compression springs act, for both tilt and height seat position variations, to provide means whereby the weight of the seat operator can be used to adjust seat position.
