  • Patent number: 4760763
Abstract: A tool for removing child resistant caps from medicine containers is formed of a resilient material providing a good frictional interfit with the cap to be removed. The tool has a lower surface defining a cap receiving recess and an upper surface defining a smooth surface of transition comfortably received in the palm of one's hand. The cap is removed by inserting it into the recess and by palm pressure only, depressing and rotating the cap to remove it from its child resistant engagement with the container.

  • Patent number: 4682831
Abstract: A cable-entry seal for a multicontact seismic cable connector consists of a cable anchor molded near an end of a multiconductor cable and a sphincter grommet. A compression sleeve, urged by a gland nut axially compresses the sphincter causing it to expand radially to form a water tight seal. A rotatable locking cam has a spiral slot lined with a low friction material to lock a pair of cable connectors together.

  • Patent number: 4337027
Abstract: The invention pertains to a valve assembly particularly useful in injection mold apparatus of the type comprising a pair of abutting mold body members having registering cavity portions and channels in their abutting interface surfaces. The valve assembly comprises a generally tubular mounting member and an elongate valve element having a portion mounted within the mounting member for rotation therein and a portion extending axially outwardly from the mounting member. The extending portion of the valve element has an axially directed end face with a recess therein opening axially and radially of the valve element. Detent formations are cooperative between the mounting member and the valve element for retaining the valve element in a desired one of a plurality of positions with respect to the mounting member.
