Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by an application on a communication device from an access device, a unique identifier associated with a resource provider in a transaction. The method also includes transmitting, by the application, a message comprising the unique identifier and an access data reference identifier associated with access data to a remote server computer associated with the application. The remote server computer searches a database for access data using the access data reference identifier, retrieves the access data, and provides the access data to a transport computer which processes the transaction using the access data.

Abstract: Using payment processing data on which cards transact at a merchant, a payment transaction service provider may determine whether cards used at a given merchant are being used within the card's domicile or outside the domicile. When a card is used in domicile, that's a “local” user. This allows the payment transaction service provider to inform on whether a merchant is visited primarily by tourists or primarily by locals. The payment transaction service provider may also derive whether someone is a ‘tourist’ card based on any recent hotel, car rental, or flight purchases in the same location as their purchase at a merchant.

Abstract: The system comprises: a biometric scanner configured to obtain biometric information from a user; a controller configured to receive the obtained biometric information from the biometric scanner and to generate a transaction code based on the obtained biometric information, the controller being further configured to receive account data relating to an account of the user; a server configured to receive the account data and the transaction code from the controller; a database in communication with the server and having stored thereon the account data in association with a registered code, the registered code having been generated based on pre-obtained biometric information of the user; and wherein the server is operable to use the account data to identify the registered code and to authorize the transaction based on a comparison of the registered code with the transaction code.

Abstract: The system includes a wireless payment device coupleable to a vehicle, the wireless payment device having account data stored thereon; a fuel dispensing nozzle coupleable to a fuel supply and configurable to dispense fuel through the nozzle from the fuel supply, the fuel dispensing nozzle comprising a wireless transceiver capable of wireless communication with the wireless payment device, a controller in communication with the fuel dispensing nozzle, the controller being operable to receive the account data from the wireless payment device via the wireless transceiver; and a payment server in communication with the controller, the payment server being operable to receive the account data from the controller and to send authorization data to the controller based on the account data; wherein the controller is operable to control the fuel dispensing nozzle to dispense fuel on receipt of the authorization data.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a mobile computing device comprising: a communication interface configured in use to wirelessly transmit and receive data; and a controller configured in use to cause the communication interface to transmit payment information to an external device to perform a transaction, the payment information including account information received by the communication interface from a server device, the account information specifying an account for use in performing the transaction.
