Abstract: This invention relates to new tetrahydrobenzthiazoles of general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl or alkynyl group, an alkanoyl group, a phenyl alkyl or phenyl alkanoyl group, while the above mentioned phenyl nuclei may each be substituted by 1 or 2 halogen atoms.R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group,R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl or alkynyl group, an alkanoyl group, a phenyl alkyl or phenyl alkanoyl group, while the phenyl nucleus may be substituted by fluorine, chlorine or bromine atoms,R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkyl or alkenyl group, orR.sub.3 and R.sub.4 together with the nitrogen atom between them represent a pyrrolidino, piperidino, hexamethyleneimino or morpholino group, the enantiomers and the acid addition salts thereof.The compounds of general formula I above in which one of the groups R.sub.1 or R.sub.3 or both groups R.sub.1 and R.sub.

Abstract: For the partial heat treatment of tools which have a work surface and a clamping in region, there is disclosed a furnace, the useful space of which is subdivided into two separate heating spaces by a plate made of heat insulating material whereby the temperature in these heating spaces is lowered by disconnection of the connecting members between the individual heating elements of the all-around heating and the clamping in region of the work tools may be maintained below the conversion temperature of the metal.

Abstract: There is proposed a hairstyling appliance which has a hair curler cylinder and a hot-air nozzle. The hair curler cylinder is provided with slits; its interior communicates with an air-aspirating device. The hot-air nozzle is directed toward the surface of the hair curler cylinder. Hot air generated by a dryer also provided in the appliance flows from this hot-air nozzle. Upon rotation, the hair curler cylinder takes up the hair and winds it up as a result of the underpressure prevailing at its slits. The hair is then held in the wound-up position, while it is subjected to the flow from the hot-air nozzle. The air, after absorbing water vapor upon passing through the hair, is simultaneously aspirated away from the interior of the hair curler cylinder. The hot-air nozzle is disposed on the appliance at a predetermined, fixed distance from the hair curler cylinder.

The compounds as well as their salts are useful as neuroleptics.
