  • Patent number: 6796151
Abstract: A method and a device for dyeing a textile substrate in at least one supercritical fluid, are described, whereby the textile substrate is arranged in an autoclave, where at least one supercritical fluid loaded with a dyestuff flows over and/or through the textile substrate, and the at least one powdered dyestuff is brought in contact with the supercritical fluid, forming a stable solution and/or dispersion of the dyestuff in the supercritical fluid. The quantity of dyestuff required for dyeing is divided into a plurality of dyestuff partial quantities, and each partial quantity of dyestuff is separately brought in contact with the supercritical fluid until this partial quantity of dyestuff is dissolved or dispersed. Hereafter the next partial quantity of dyestuff is introduced into the supercritical fluid, and this process is repeated several times until the total quantity of dyestuff has been introduced into the supercritical fluid.

  • Patent number: 5972045
Abstract: A process is disclosed for dyeing a textile substrate, in particular for dyeing polyester yarns. The substrate to be dyed is placed in an autoclave and a supercritical fluid containing at least one dyestuff is applied to it, i.e. passed through it. The supercritical fluid is pumped continuously via a circulation system allocated to the autoclave, and, in order to terminate the dyeing process, the pressure and/or temperature is lowered and/or the volume is increased. Immediately before and/or during the pressure and/or temperature reduction and/or volume increase, as much as possible of any residual dye which has not been transferred to the substrate is removed from the fluid.

  • Patent number: 5958085
Abstract: The description relates to a process for dyeing a textile substrate in at least one supercritical fluid, preferably for dyeing spools of yarn in supercritical carbon dioxide, where the textile substrate is placed in an autoclave in which the supercritical fluid containing at least one dye is caused to flow over or in it. The at least one dye is brought into contact with the supercritical fluid in loose, molten, solution and/or dispersion form to produce a stable solution of the dye in said fluid, avoiding the originally dissolved dye's deposition from the solution or the formation of dye agglomerates therein having a particle size of over 30 .mu.m and advantageously over 15 .mu.m.

  • Patent number: 4675133
Abstract: A process is disclosed for recovering fats and oils from oil fruits and oil seeds, wherein the oil fruits and oil seeds are cleaned, immediately thereafter pressed cold in a screw press without prior mechanical conditioning, and then extracted. In this process, the extraction is effected immediately after pressing by treating the oil fruits and oil seeds with countercurrently flowing carbon dioxide, ethane, ethene and/or propane at a temperature of from 40.degree. to 110.degree. C. and at a pressure of from 250 to 750 bar, for a time period of from 0.5 to 2.5 hours, with the solvent ratio lying between 5 and 30 kg solvent per 1 kg pressed cake. The separation of the extracted fats and oils from the separated solvent phase is effected by pressure reduction and/or temperature change. The invention also includes an apparatus for implementing the process.

  • Patent number: 4560513
Abstract: A process for the recovery of lecithin from mucilaginous substances obtained in the production of vegetable fats and oils by extraction with a solvent which is gaseous under normal conditions. The mucilaginous substances are extracted at a pressure from 2.times.p.sub.k to 500 bar and at a temperature from 0.degree. C. to <T.sub.k for a period from 15 to 60 minutes to form a charged compressed solvent phase containing extracted substances and an extraction residue containing insoluble lecithin. Then, the charged, compressed solvent phase is separated from the insoluble lecithin. Thereafter the extracted substances are separated from the charged, compressed solvent phase and the gaseous solvent is returned to the extraction stage. The lecithin is removed from the extraction stage and is obtained in solid form by evaporating the solvent.
