The method comprises detecting a motion in a monitored room, starting data collection through at least a first sensing device and a second sensing device, transmitting said collected data to a computing device comprising a data analysis unit, detecting a potentially dangerous situation through the data analysis unit by analyzing said collected data, transmitting a relevant snippet of data of said first sensing device to a first randomly selected service center server, evaluating said snippet of data through a first service center operator as being related to “definitely a dangerous situation”, “definitely no dangerous situation” or “unclear”, if “unclear” was chosen, transmitting the snippet of data to a second randomly selected service center server, and transmitting the snippet of data along with the evaluation of the first operator from the second randomly selected service center server to the computing device.

The method comprises detecting closing of a door; keeping a first locking mechanism of said door in an open position for a first predetermined period of time after said closing; after said predetermined period of time, changing said first locking mechanism into a locked position. The re-entry time frame permits a user to re-enter without a key, immediately after realizing they forgot it. Abstract: An operation method is presented for personal emergency response systems (PERS) combining a mobile device, e.g., a smartphone, and a personal device that is easy to carry for the user, e.g., a bracelet or pendant with genuine text, phone and mobile internet capability, both whether or not sensors are wirelessly connected to these devices. A method may improve and automate PERS by consistently supervising the users in case of an emergency by using mainly mobile Internet communication means and devices with immediate display of first responders and a possibility to coordinate ambulance and other official emergency response means, thus omitting the need for geo-fencing, unless desired by the users. A method may facilitate the rescue of a person via PERS by displaying a line of two or more previous and potentially later GPS coordinates and may conserve energy while intermittently receiving GPS coordinates for rescue purposes.
