  • Publication number: 20060051223
Abstract: The invention is based on a hydraulic transformer having a housing and having an expeller part in which a plurality of expellers which bound a number of expeller spaces with variable volumes are guided, a cam part on which the expellers are supported, and a valving surface which has three kidney-shaped control slots, one of which is connected to a supply port, one to a working port and one to a reservoir tank port. The objective is to provide a hydraulic transformer in which complex setting of the transmission ratio is avoided. The aimed-at objective is achieved according to the invention in that the valving surface can be driven in rotation by means of a drive, and in that of the two components comprising the expeller part and cam element one component is essentially arranged fixedly with respect to the housing and the other component can move freely in terms of two rotational or translatory degrees of freedom within a limited range.

  • Patent number: 6484998
Abstract: A solenoid valve (50) has a valve housing (51) with a valve slide (53) in which two magnets, with one pole (1) each, are inserted. The poles (1) each have a coil core (8, 9) which extends along a longitudinal axis (10) and in which in each case one armature tappet (17), which activates one end of the valve slide (53) with an activation end (27), is provided. Arranged on each armature tappet (17) is a magnet armature (23) which has two armature side faces (24, 25) which extend obliquely with respect to the longitudinal axis (10). The coil core (8, 9) has two core side faces (12, 19) which extend parallel to one armature side face (24, 25) in each case.

  • Patent number: 5854654
Abstract: The invention concerns a high frequency image transmission system comprising several shooting units (Ci) comprising a camera, a receiver (HFR) and a transmitter (HFE) able to transmit a video signal to a central production unit (S), and two video channels respectively allowing transmission on a first and a second predetermined carrier frequency (Fi, Fj). This system is characterized in that said central production unit comprises a control unit (UC) for transmitting a control radio signal to said shooting units to control remotely their operation and for controlling the assignment of said channels so that one of said channels transmits, on one of said carrier frequencies (F1, F2), a first video signal coming from a selected shooting unit, while the other said channel transmits, on the other said frequency, a second video signal formed by temporal multiplexing of the signals coming from the other shooting units.

  • Patent number: 5724223
Abstract: A proportional valve has an output proportional to an electrical input signal. In a preferred embodiment, the valve is actuated by a proportional solenoid having a coil which is controlled by a control signal in proportion to voltage or current. The proportional solenoid is controlled by a relatively high current such as a rectified mains voltage. A control circuit ensures that the coil of the proportional solenoid is not overloaded. Particularly, it ensures that a maximum current value is not exceeded. In this way, the mains supply required in prior art devices may be eliminated.

  • Patent number: 4551725
Abstract: The system comprises a mobile device mounted (2) on each moving body, a fixed receiving antenna (3) and means for processing (4) the identification signals emitted by the mobile devices (2). The frequency of these identification signals is representative of the respective moving bodies. In addition, a transmitter (22) is provided to send the devices (2) a control signal that serves, on the one hand, to allow power supply to be applied to means for generating the identification signals and, on the other, serves as reference signal for those means, which do not have their own time base. This system is particularly well suited to the timing of automobile races.
