  • Patent number: 6880308
Abstract: A lattice girder supporting frame for tunnel lining includes upper and lower boom members arranged parallel to each other to form a triangle. Truss braces spatially connect the upper and lower boom members to each other, wherein each of the truss braces has straight brace parts angled relative to each other, and each of the straight brace parts is connected to each other at one end via a straight bridge piece. The truss braces are arranged in a symmetrical plane extending laterally from the upper boom member to an axis of the lower boom members. Cross ties extend at right angles relative to the lower boom members, for connecting the lower boom members to each other, wherein the truss braces abut the lower boom members without bending and are welded to the lower boom members.

  • Publication number: 20020000075
Abstract: A lattice girder supporting frame for mine and tunnel lining has a plurality of boom members arranged in parallel relative to each other, forming a triangle. The boom members are spatially connected to each other by straight braces arranged along the edges of a pyramid so as to form a truss brace. The braces are each welded to the boom members at the contact faces between a straight brace part and an upper boom and a straight brace part and a lower boom. The lower booms are connected to each other via cross-ties arranged at right angle relative to such booms and the cross-ties form two sides of the pyramid base surface wherein four comer points of the base are defined by the truss braces at the contact points between the lower booms and braces.

  • Patent number: 4187037
Abstract: A wall supporting arrangement, especially for supporting mine gallery walls, comprises a supporting frame for a wall to be supported and including at least two frame elements located in a plane which is transverse to the elongation of the wall and are spaced from one another in this plane, and a plurality of shape-retaining shell-shaped connecting elements distributed along the frame elements and connecting the latter with one another in spacially fixed relationship. The supporting frame may include two such outer frame elements and two such inner frame elements connected with one another. In this case each of the connecting elements includes two shell portions connected with one another and including mounting formations for mounting the four frame elements with one another. The supporting frame may include a plurality of frame portions located laterally adjacent to one another in a circumferential direction of the supporting frame.

  • Patent number: 4178859
Abstract: A door-like closure for passageways in high-risk high-security installations includes a multilayer protective plate which has a rather high resistance to mechanical, thermal and chemical damaging influences, but which can be rather easily damaged by the action of explosives. To reinforce the protective plate, a reinforcing grid is juxtaposed therewith at the major surface thereof which faces the interior of the installation so that, when an attempt is made to destroy the protective plate by explosives, the reinforcing grid not only will increase the resistance of the protective plate to damage but also will permit the explosive shockwave and the possible debris of the protective plate propelled thereby to penetrate through the apertures of the grid without causing any considerable damage to the grid. The apertures of the grid have such dimensions that an intruder will not be able to reach through the aperture into the interior of the installation to, for instance, manipulate the lock of the closure.
