    Abstract: A method of arranging cells comprises: (a) applying a voltage to two electrodes so as to allow a plurality of cells suspended in a dielectrophoresis-manipulating buffer (DEP-manipulating buffer) to be driven to be arranged into a pattern; (b) replacing the DEP-manipulating buffer with a solution comprising calcium ion and magnesium ion which helps the patterned cells adhere to the substrate; and (c) replacing the solution comprising calcium ion and magnesium ion with a medium so as to allow the patterned cells to grow on the substrate.
