  • Publication number: 20220022566
Abstract: The present invention relates to a swimsuit 23 including an elastic polyurethane yarn. The elastic polyurethane yarn contains; 0.5 to 10 mass % of a cationic high-molecular-weight compound A having a number-average molecular weight of 2000 or more; and an inorganic chlorine deterioration inhibitor B. The mass ratio of the cationic high-molecular-weight compound A to the inorganic chlorine deterioration inhibitor B ranges from 0.3 to 3, and a silicone oil is applied to the elastic polyurethane yarn. A fabric for the swimsuit is treated with water repellent finishing. The swimsuit 23 preferably includes an elastic polyurethane yarn whose ratio of fluorine (F) to carbon (C) on the elastic polyurethane yarn is 0.030 or more in an elemental mass concentration according to scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX). Thereby, it is possible to provide a swimsuit with high water repellency, low water retention rate, and high buoyancy.

  • Patent number: 10513820
Abstract: A soil resistant fiber structure, including a fiber and a soil resistant resin fixed to at least a part of a surface of the fiber, wherein the resin has, in at least a part inside the resin, one or more regions dyed with osmium oxide as observed with a transmission electron microscope, at least one of the regions is circular, the regions have a maximum diameter of 100 nm or more and 500 nm or less, and the soil resistant fiber structure has a mass concentration ratio of oxygen atoms to fluorine atoms (O/F) of 3 or more as obtained by measuring the surface of the fiber with an energy dispersive X-ray analyzer. The present invention provides a fiber structure having high anti-adhesion property against aqueous soils and oily soils as well as soil release property by washing.

  • Publication number: 20150038035
Abstract: Provided is a fabric having a ground weave to which a hygroscopic polymer is fixed, and the fabric generates heat under moisture absorbing conditions and provides a more comfortable feeling to a person by temperature drop in moisture desorption conditions. A fiber structure is prepared by fixing a hygroscopic polymer to fibers of the fabric, and the front layer on the front surface side and the back layer on the back surface side have different fiber densities where the boundary between the front layer and the back layer is on the center line of a cross section of the fiber structure.
