    Abstract: A beam adjustment assembly includes a phase shifter and a connecting plate. The phase shifter includes a circuit board and main dielectric slabs configured to shift a phase. The circuit board is provided with a first strip and a second strip that are spaced. The first strip and the second strip are configured to respectively connect to radiating elements of an antenna. The connecting plate is slidably assembled on the circuit board and is configured to control an electrical connection between the first strip and the second strip. When sliding, the main dielectric slab can push the connecting plate to slide to control a quantity of radiating elements in the antenna system. The sliding of the main dielectric slab in the phase shifter is used as a driving mechanism of the connecting plate.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides an antenna system to improve communication flexibility. The antenna system includes a radio frequency unit, a divider, a first modulator, a second modulator, a first antenna and a second antenna. The radio frequency unit is configured to generate a first radio frequency signal. The divider is configured to divide the first radio frequency signal into first and second radio frequency sub-signals. The first modulator is configured to adjust a first electrical downtilt of the first radio frequency sub-signal and send the adjusted first radio frequency sub-signal to the first antenna for transmission. The second modulator is configured to adjust a second electrical downtilt of the second radio frequency sub-signal and send the adjusted second readio frequency sub-sibnal to the second antenna for transmission. The adjustion is based on a target downtilt of the first radio frequency signal and a mechanical downtitlt of the first or second antenna.

    Abstract: A dielectric lens, where the dielectric lens is a cylindrical lens or an ellipsoidal lens whose cross-sectional profile is a quasi-ellipse, and the dielectric lens is formed by piling a plurality of units. Dielectric constant distribution of the units in the dielectric lens enables a non-plane wave in a minor axis direction of the quasi-ellipse to be converted into a plane wave through the dielectric lens. The units of the dielectric lens are prepared through extrusion, injection, molding, computer numerical control (CNC) machining, or a three dimensional (3D) printing process technology, and the units may be assembled through gluing, welding, structural clamping, or a coupling printed through 3D printing. When the dielectric lens is applied to a multi-beam antenna, a system capacity of a communications system can be increased. In addition, a thickness of the lens is reduced using the multi-beam antenna.
