Abstract: Technology for auditing monitors is provided. In one example, a method may include identifying a virtualized computing system to be audited. The method may further include identifying existing monitors on the virtualized computing system for monitoring the virtualized computing system and collecting metrics. The existing monitors may be compared against defined monitors specified in a data store for the virtualized computing system to identify missing monitors absent from the virtualized computing system. The virtualized computing system having the missing monitors may be flagged.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to methods, apparatuses, and systems for scaling inventory management systems to accommodate peak capacity loads. For example, some high-demand, high-volume inventory can provided in a limited time period, attracting network traffic that can overwhelm third party providers with limited network or processing capacity. An inventory database at the third party provider can be mirrored at the service provider, such that the inventory database can be copied to the service provider and stored as a mirror database. User requests can be made against the mirror database at the service provider. The user can select inventory to order, which can reserve the inventory until payment information is provided and confirmed at the service provider. Subsequently, the service provider can synchronize the order with the third party provider in accordance with the limited capacity of the third party provider.

The group order may include items picked up or delivered to the same or geographically proximate locations. Incentives may be used to incite participation in a group order, thereby saving on overall delivery costs.

Abstract: A customer may specify, via a mobile device, a current location at which the customer desires to receive a delivery order for food items, as well as a preferred amount of time for the delivery. In response, food items that are available to be delivered to the current location within the preferred amount of time are identified and presented to the customer, including food items to be prepared/provided by merchants and food items current being transported by deliverers within sophisticated food item containers and/or delivery containers. Upon receiving a selection of one or more food items, a delivery of the ordered/selected food items may be facilitated. For instance, one or more instructions to prepare and/or transport the food item(s) may be transmitted to devices of merchants and/or deliverers.

Abstract: A food item container that contains a food item may include one or more sensors that collect sensor data indicating a characteristic (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure, orientation, etc.) associated with the food item. A delivery container that transports the food items within the food item container may also include one or more sensors that collect the sensor data. Based on the sensor data, a component of the food item container and/or the delivery container may maintain or adjust the characteristic. The one or more sensors of the delivery container may also detect an identifier associated with the food item container, which may indicate which food item containers (and corresponding food items) are included within each delivery container.
