The lower tubular base fits comfortably in the foremost corner of the cargo area of the pick-up truck. The upper tubular member is secured to the sides of the pick-up truck with straps, cords or wires. A bicycle is held securely in the rack by a c-shaped hook or clamp that fits around the steering neck, frame of bicycle frame mounting and is secured with a specially designed locknut. No additional, straps, nuts, locks or other devices are needed to securely hold the bicycle in the rack.
