  • Patent number: 11946876
Abstract: Improved inspection techniques are described herein for checking for the presence of and identifying surface defects on a honeycomb body. The improved inspection utilizes measurement of travel of an outer surface of the honeycomb body to collect images of the outer surface. The images are combined into a composite image showing the outer surface of the honeycomb body. The composite image is analyzed to identify surface defects.

  • Publication number: 20140358308
Abstract: Systems for intelligent automated response to line frequency and voltage disturbances by a central control point communication with a plurality of load control devices. The systems may include a load control device adapted to communicate with one or more energy consuming devices. The load control device may have a load control device firmware adapted to receive and process control directives to change the load of at least one energy consuming device. A central control point may be associated with the building and may be connected to the line power. The central control point may include a circuit adapted to monitor the line power and a central control point firmware adapted to detect the line disturbance. The central control point firmware may be in communication with the load control device firmware and may be adapted to transmit the control directives to the load control device firmware.

  • Publication number: 20120016778
Abstract: In a method 500 of controlling cloud services a single cloud services controller system 110 presents a plurality of cloud services portals 205 for facilitating self-service interaction. The plurality of cloud services portals 205 that are presented include: a consumer services portal 205-1, a design services portal 205-2, an administrative services portal 205-3, an operations management services portal 205-4, and a business management services portal 205-n. Based upon interaction received via one or more of the cloud services portals 205, an instantiation of resources 260 with which to provide a requested cloud-based service is determined. The instantiation of resources 260 is actuated in a data center 130 via interaction with existing data center management capabilities 131 to affect implementation of the requested cloud-based service within the data center 130.

  • Patent number: 7877433
Abstract: One embodiment in accordance with the invention is a method that can include generating a repository of computing system architecture designs. An offer can be generated to instantiate a host environment for an application, wherein the offer includes a plurality of options. A selection of an option of the offer can be received and utilized to identify a computing system architecture design of the repository. The computing system architecture design can be utilized to instantiate the host environment for the application.

  • Publication number: 20100036751
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for information technology (IT) services lifecycle management. A services architecture provides a plurality of services that are capable of being ordered. A design service captures declarative specifications of services as service models. A catalog service receives the service model and combines the service models into a plurality of service offerings to provide a catalog of orderable services. An order configuration service receives an order for at least one orderable service selectable from the catalog of orderable services. An order processing service instantiates the at least one orderable service in two phases, thereby generating an instantiated ordered service. An order fulfillment service fulfills the order in accordance with the instantiated ordered service.
