  • Publication number: 20080007398
Abstract: A technique is provided for wirelessly tracking valuable assets during transit via a tracking system. The tracking system includes an event sensor for generating a trigger signal upon sensing an event and a position sensing device for receiving positional information of an asset being tracked. The tracking system also includes a communication device for communicating a date, a time and received positional information to one or more monitoring stations upon being triggered by the trigger signal. The one or more monitoring stations process the information received from the tracking system to determine if the event is expected or an anomaly via an anomaly detection algorithm.

  • Patent number: 6745195
Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for generating software cards that summarize and index information. A documentation storage unit stores a variety of documentation. A software card generator generates each of the software cards for a predetermined card category. Each software card points to blocks of information stored in the documentation storage unit that relate to the predetermined card category. A software card database stores the generated plurality of software cards. A user can search the software cards in order to quickly and easily access documentation and materials specific to their specific area of interest.

  • Patent number: 6430536
Abstract: Methods and systems for generating reports with respect to medical imaging equipment of a health care organization are described. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a processor based system is configured to prompt a user to collect various data related to a number of facilities. The data typically relates to the equipment, or inventory, as well as to the various types of procedures, and the number of procedures, performed at the facility. After collecting the necessary data, the system then determines, or calculates, various summaries, assessments, capacity utilization, needs assessment, needs comparison, equipment requirements comparison, and procedural efficiency. After making such determinations, the system builds and formats various reports and graphs for presenting the determinations to the user.

  • Patent number: 5991743
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for proactively monitoring risk exposure. In this invention, risk related information is received at an input knowledge source. A shared database stores the risk related information received at the input knowledge source. A plurality of domain knowledge sources formulates a decision on how the risk related information in the shared database affects a predetermined risk category. An output knowledge source generates a risk related report in response to the decisions formulated by each of the plurality of domain knowledge sources. A risk analytics router routes the risk related information in the input knowledge source to the shared database, the risk related information in the shared database to at least one of the domain knowledge sources, the decisions formulated from the domain knowledge sources to the shared database, and the decisions from the shared database to the output knowledge source.
