    Abstract: A load bearing building panel (10) is composed of light weight concrete and reinforcing within the panel body (11) adjacent to the first and second major faces (12, 13). The reinforcing (18, 19) extends in a horizontal direction for most of the width of the panel and in a vertical direction for most of the height. In addition, the reinforcing extends about apertures near the upper and lower faces (16, 17). The apertures a suitable for fasteners to extend there through. A load bearing column is disclosed with top and bottom portions engageable with a structure they are resting upon. A triangular cross-section tubular member extends between and is attached to the top and bottom portions.
