Patent number: 11922527Abstract: A system may include a first computing system that may include at least one processor. The at least one processor may receive a request for identification information associated with a user of the first computing device, such that the request is received from a second computing device. The at least one processor may then receive information regarding an entity associated with the second computing device, retrieve data comprising the identification information from a storage component, generate additional data comprising a portion of the identification information based on the information regarding the entity, and send the additional data to the second computing device.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2021Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Nathaniel Brett Wiatrek, Nathan Ryan Johnson, Julia Beatrice Isaac, Joshua Dowdy, Angela Dorothea Bowen, Jasmine Minjeong Jeong, Oscar Roberto Tijerina, Kevin Anthony Kossow

Patent number: 11912296Abstract: Systems and methods for avoiding illegal stopping zones are provided. In example embodiments, a networked system identifies a destination of a driver providing a transportation service to a user. The networked system monitors a user device of the driver, and infers, based on the monitoring, that the driver is planning to stop in an illegal stopping zone located a predetermined distance to the destination. The inference is based on device data such as accelerometer data or location data that is triangulated with known or derived illegal stopping zones. In response, the networked system causes presentation of a notification on a user interface of the device of the driver. The notification provides an indication of the illegal stopping zone. In some embodiments, the notification also provides an alternative stopping location determined by the networked system.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2022Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Uber Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Shailendra Ramineni Rao, Wesley KaiJie Leung, Eleanor Cady Wachsman, Jon Ryan Bowen

Publication number: 20230257165Abstract: A securable clip includes a first elongated rectangular portion and a second elongated rectangular portion connected along a common edge. The clip includes at least one locking peg, at least one receiving hole configured to receive the at least one locking peg, and a frangible portion. The frangible portion provides a visual indication that the clip has been opened. The releasing of the locking peg prevents the clip from being reclosed, reused, or sealed again.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2023Publication date: August 17, 2023Applicant: SAFESEAL-SYSTEMSInventors: Ronald Collis, James Ryan Bowen
