  • Publication number: 20110297359
Abstract: A system and method for attaching very thin stainless steel plates to a radiator or heat exchanger core using the CuproBraze® brazing technique. The use of thin stainless steel side plates produces the structural strength needed in the radiator or heat exchanger core assembly without adding an excessive amount of weight. Heretofore, the CuproBraze® brazing technique has not been used with stainless steel. The stainless steel radiator or heat exchanger core side plates need only be about half as thick as a copper/brass side plate to provide the strength needed for support of the radiator or heat exchanger core.

  • Patent number: 7971445
Abstract: A cableless control system for an automobile air conditioner includes a slide pot potentiometer assembly for connection to an actuator arm on the back of a dashboard mounted control assembly. The position of the slide pot potentiometer assembly creates an electrical resistance signal which governs the position of the devices which moves the variable mechanical portions of the automobile air conditioner. The shape of the linear slide pot potentiometer assembly allows for the use of existing hardware and eliminates the need to run sheathed cables from the dashboard mounted control panel assembly to the mechanically variable portions which govern the operation of the automobile air conditioner.

  • Patent number: 7194994
Abstract: A system and method for mounting engine driven accessories to the front of a small block Ford motor includes a bracket which bolts to the front of the cylinder block. Included within the bracket are mountings for a power steering pump, a compressor for an air conditioning system, a water pump, an alternator, and a belt tensioner. Part of the bracket acts as part of the housing for the water pump. Another part of the housing acts as a cover for the timing chain.
