Abstract: A system and method for retrieving data from a data generating device includes a communication intermediary and an external data storage system. The communication intermediary has a first network interface that is connected to the external data storage system and a second network interface that is connected to the data generating device. The communication intermediary isolates the network communication between the data generating device and second network interface from the network communication between the external storage system and the first network interface, and thereby isolates the data generating device from the external storage system. The communication intermediary monitors the data generating device for newly generated data files, copies the newly generated data files to an internal memory and sends the data files to the external storage system.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for assisting with legal research and for aiding in the discovery of information and documents relevant to a user's research focus or input text. The inventive systems receive identifications of relevant documents explicitly or implicitly from a user's research session or input text and, based on issues relevant to those documents, texts and other connections to those documents and texts, recommends similar or helpful documents to the user for their consideration. Recommendations may be ranked and filtered.

Abstract: A computer includes a processor and a memory, and the memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive range data from a range sensor of a vehicle, detect a person in proximity to the vehicle based on the range data, activate a camera of the vehicle upon detecting the person, set a parameter of one of the camera or a facial recognition algorithm based on the range data of the person, and perform the facial recognition algorithm on the person using data from the camera.

Abstract: A system and method for providing electric power take-off from a high-voltage electric battery to a plurality of external devices includes: receiving a first request from a first external device having a first priority for a supply of power from an electric power take-off connector at a first voltage, a first current, and a first variance tolerance; receiving a second request from a second external device having a second priority for supply of power at a second voltage, a second current, and a second variance tolerance; and assigning available power from the high-voltage battery, via a high voltage (HV) variable direct-current to direct-current (DCDC) converter and a current regulator in electrical communication with the high-voltage battery, to the first and second external devices based upon their respective priorities and variance tolerances.

The additive manufacturing system comprises a powder material handling system comprising a virgin powder inlet. The virgin powder inlet is coupled to a virgin powder drum and configured to receive a virgin powder from the virgin powder drum. The additive manufacturing system further comprises a liquid material handling system comprising a binder inlet. The binder inlet is coupled to a binder drum and configured to receive a binder from the binder drum. The additive manufacturing system also comprises an additive manufacturing machine coupled to the powder material handling system and the liquid material handling system. The additive manufacturing machine receives the virgin powder and the binder from the powder material handling and liquid material handling systems and is configured to manufacture a work product using the virgin powder and the binder.

An interface can then be provided that displays data associated with the displayed content and the additional content. A system includes a plurality of computational devices and sensors accessed and configured to determine, through one or more networks, a location and behavior of a person and/or a context of the person at documented times and location to predict and evaluate user behavior. An employee's responses to a human psychometric analysis test or personality analysis tool are input to an AI model, as well as written, verbal and visual communications, whereupon the AI model is informed and further trained to consider indications of the employee's (1.) cognitive style, and (2.) behavioral and/or cognitive strengths, preferences and traits as derived from an analysis of employee's responses to the psychometric analysis test or personality analysis tool.

Abstract: A method for tracking injection site information includes displaying, on a user interface, a plurality of injection zones, each of the plurality of injection zones representing a segment of the body suitable for medication injection and including a graphical indicator indicating a period of time since a most recent previous injection in the injection zone. The method also includes receiving, via the user interface, injection information relating to a new injection in a particular injection zone. The method also includes updating a graphical indicator of the particular injection zone on the user interface to indicate a new date and time of injection to the particular injection zone.

Abstract: Crosslinked particles including an essential oil and gelatin are described. At least a portion of the gelatin is crosslinked. A method of making the crosslinked particles includes emulsifying a mixture of an essential oil and an aqueous solution, and exposing the resulting particles to conditions effective to crosslink the gelatin to provide the crosslinked particles. The crosslinked particles and compositions including the crosslinked particles can be particularly useful in the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections.

Abstract: A method for displaying content items to a user based on selected goals from the user includes performing an initial assessment of a user, which includes retrieving at least one of measured patient disease management data and user-inputted patient disease management data from a user database, requesting additional information from the user for determining one or more goals, and receiving the additional information from the user via a user interface. Abstract: Described herein are card-based bill payment systems and methods enabling bill payment using a transaction card within a consumer financial institution (CFI) payment platform and enabling real-time payment confirmation messaging is provided. The bill payment system includes a bill pay exchange (BPX) computing system that receives a payment initiation message from a CFI, the payment initiation message including tokenized payment credentials associated with a transaction card used to initiate a bill payment transaction with the CFI, a bill payment amount, and a biller identifier. The BPX computing system also identifies a biller service provider (BSP) associated with the biller, and transmit the payment initiation message to the BSP to initiate authorization of the bill payment transaction.

The first end of the strap member is operably connected to a right side of the treadmill frame, and the second end of the strap member is removably connected to a left side of the treadmill frame. The retracting device is configured to retract the strap member into the retracting device when the second end of the strap member is disconnected from the treadmill frame. When the second end of the strap member is connected to the left side of the treadmill, the middle section of the strap member constrains a position of a user on a top surface of the endless belt.
