  • Patent number: 11977194
Abstract: An electrostatic concentrator for use in radon detection, comprising of a plastic sheet having conductive electrodes patterned onto the surface. The sheet is patterned and cut in such a way that it can be assembled into a three-dimensional shape (e.g. a cone), such that when a voltage is applied to the electrodes an electrostatic field is created for propelling radon progeny towards a sensor on which it can be detected.

  • Publication number: 20240135405
Abstract: A method for redeeming multiple digital offers with a digital code is provided. The method includes retrieving one or more consumer identification values, forming an offer for the consumer, the offer including a digital incentive associated with a product or service of interest for the consumer, and creating, in a persistent record, an offer monitor to update the offer for the consumer and include the offer, the offers associated with multiple products and services of interest for the consumer. The persistent record includes multiple offers for the consumer and is stored at a network address associated with the consumer. The method also includes associating a digital code with the persistent record, and integrating the persistent record with a wallet application installed in the user device. A system and a non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions to cause the system to perform the above method are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11930731
Abstract: Continued and precise operation of an agricultural implement exists even where a subsystem, such as a GPS receiver, wireless communicator, a sensor, or the like, fails, falters, or is otherwise unusable. Data is continually tracked to the extent possible during failure or faltering and is temporarily stored. The temporary data is later stitched or otherwise harmonized with historical data once the failing system is repaired or otherwise once again available. During failure or faltering, views, and even mapped views, of historical and real-time data are displayed. Predicted or anticipated data can be included within these views or can even be used when stitching.

  • Patent number: 11659234
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein for modifying content playback between user devices (e.g., moving the content playback from one device to another). State information may be obtained by a content management engine, the state information describing aspects of historical content streaming corresponding to a plurality of user devices associated with a user profile. A streaming request can be received from a user device. The content to be streamed can be selected by the content management engine based at least in part on the state information. In some embodiments, the playback device is also selected based on the state information. A streaming request is transmitted from the content management engine to a service provider to effectuate the content being streamed to the selected playback device. These techniques enable a user to push or pull content to or from one device to another.

  • Publication number: 20230093073
Abstract: Provided herein are methods and compositions for community-based screening of polymicrobial infections for the selection and administration of antibiotics and antibiotic combinations for treating infections associated with diseases such as cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and chronic sinus infections. The methods and compositions of this disclosure are advantageous in the sense that antibiotic effectiveness is assessed with respect to a community of microbes rather than a single microbial population, thus reflecting more accurately the in vivo disease environment and enabling the identification of beneficial antimicrobial therapeutics even when the primary bacterial strain shows antibiotic resistance.

  • Patent number: 11459764
Abstract: A ventilation device is supported in at a ventilation opening in a fabric panel of a building in which the fabric panel is supported under tension across a frame. The device includes a lower frame and an intermediate frame with respective flanges that receive a perimeter edge of the fabric panel about the ventilation opening therebetween. A cover is joined to the frames so as to prevent precipitation entering the frame opening while providing exterior ventilation from the ventilation opening of the building through one or more exterior openings in the cover.

  • Patent number: 10947776
Abstract: A wall system for forming a weather enclosure across a building opening in the frame of a building includes a flexible sheet of flexible material, a first rigid frame member secured across a first end of the flexible sheet, and a second rigid frame member secured across the flexible sheet in proximity to an opposing second end of the sheet. The first rigid frame remember is fixedly mounted on the building frame. A tensioning assembly is operatively connected between the second rigid frame member and the building frame so as to apply tension in the longitudinal direction to a portion of the flexible sheet. The tensioning between rigid frame members spanning across opposing ends of the sheet ensures that the sheet can be supported under significant tension throughout the sheet to enable the sheet to withstand considerable wind and precipitation loads.
